10 May, 2010 - Event Hire wins top hire award
Organised by the Hire Association Europe and the Event Hire Association, the Hire Awards of Excellence 2010 took place at the Landmark Hotel in London on Saturday 8th May.
Event Hire was voted Event Hire Company of the Year (multiple outlet)
This is a wonderful reward for our hard work during 2009 which saw Event Hire progress from a regional to a national business by opening additional depots in Bradford and London, recruit additional teams of knowledgeable and experienced people, extend the product range dramatically, produce a new catalogue and website and, during this expansion, maintain our commitment to service and quality.
We sincerely thank all our staff, customers and suppliers who have helped Event Hire achieve this marvellous award.

21 October, 2009 - Showmans Show 2009
Once again Event Hire exhibited at the Showmans Show at Newbury Showground.
New products on display this year included The "Fine Dining Range" which includes Domino elegant black stem glassware, Cabernet stemware, Mercury pattern contemporary stainless steel cutlery, the Banquo ghost chair, stunning mirror table tops and a range of table centres.

01 October, 2009 - Event Hire recruits top team for new London depot
We are delighted to announce that Jeff Dartnell and Andrew Viney have joined Event Hire to set up an all new London Depot.
Jeff, who will take up the position of Regional Sales Director, has previously worked as London Sales Manager for Jongor Events, Johnson Hospitality Services and more recently with Thorns Catering and Furniture Hire.
Andrew, who joins as Regional Operations Director, has also worked extensively in the event hire industry, with Jongor Events, Johnson Hospitality Services and, until recently Adams Hire.
With over 40 years experience in the event hire industry between them, together with Event Hire's reputation for quality and service, we are certain this new depot will be a great success.
Details of the new depot will be announced shortly.
16 June, 2009 - New Depot opening in Bradford
We have now expanded our operations with the addition of a new depot in Bradford.

Easily accessible from the M606 the depot will be stocked with the full range of Event Hire products. This will enable us to provide a better service with a more reasonable transport charge for clients in the North.
We are very pleased to announce that Sean Vermooten and Jean Moller, both previously with HSS Event Hire, JHS and CHS, have joined us to run this new depot. With their vast experience of the business and knowledge of the products and region we are all sure we will have a very successful depot operation.

05 January, 2009 - New Customer Reception and Product Showroom
A new customer reception area has now been constructed at our warehouse in Walsall, together with a new product display area. Call in to see some of our fantastic new products such as the Starlight bar, Poseur table covers, Milan chairs and our ORO reception furniture.

22 October, 2008 - Showmans Show
The Event Hire stand at the Showmans Show was double the size this year and was used with great effect to show the new Starlight Bar, which generated a great deal of interest, as did the new ranges of table linen, chair covers and speciality table covers. A photogragh of the Starlight Bar taken at the show is currently available to view on the website gallery.
The number of visitors to the stand was up on last year and the quantity & quality of enquiries for 2009 business is extremely encouraging.
The hard work in preparing and setting up the exhibition stand was suitably rewarded when Event Hire was presented with an award for "Exhibition Stand of any dimension with the best Interior Design".
